Maryland Crabcakes -Easy & Delicious

Carson may be from Leesburg, Va but he has Baltimore in his blood which is why he knows how to make delicious Crabcakes.

In addition to being delicious this recipe is so simple it will have you filling your seafood craving in no time!

  • 1 pound lump crab meat
  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 15 saltine crackers (finely crushed)

Pick through crabmeat to make sure there are no leftover shells. Nothing worse than finding a shell in a Crabcake!

In large bowl, beat egg.  Mix in mayo, mustard and worcestershire sauce.

Crush crackers until they’re in tiny pieces. Recipe calls for 15 in case a few go missing.  Lightly fold in cracker crumbs and crabmeat.  (Do not over mix)

Shape crabmeat in to loose patty and put on baking sheet. Do not compress pattys.
Broil for 5-7 minutes. If the top shelf browns too fast, move to lower rack.

Crabcakes should have a nice brown crust and be warm in the center when done.  Enjoy!
