I’m not sure who loves this snack more, Carson or his mommy. If you’re looking for a warm semi-healthy dairyfree snack you’ve found it!
4 apples, peeled and sliced (we use organic Granny Smith)
1/2 cup light brown sugar (Wegmans brand organic)
2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 tablespoons water
2 tablespoon dairy free, soy free butter (we use Earth Balance Olive Oil, nonGmo, Vegan, Soy free)
1. Peel and slice apples.
2. Mix all dry ingredients together. To save mess you can put everything in a large ziplock bag or just mix in a large bowl. Add the apples and either mix (bowl) or shake (bag) to coat the apples.
4. Cook apples for 10 minutes or until as soft as you want them.
